CMS Student Drop-off and Pickup Confirmations

As a follow up to our recent video explaining student after school pick up, we want to confirm the key facts shared as well as explain the morning student drop off procedures.
 
With the exception of a 3rd option after school, our procedures for both morning drop off and after school pick up are the same.
 
Reminder that our main lot has a 2-lane entrance (on the east side closest to Bethel) and a 2-lane exit (on the west side closest to Hathaway) during the school day.  Signs at both should help remind us.
 
Option 1 For Both Before School Drop Off and After School Pick Up:

• Enter campus from Bethel Rd and proceed to the main lot 2-lane entrance
• Follow the line along the curb
• Drop off students ONLY in the marked Blue Curb areas
• Exit through our two-way exit to either Bethel or Hathaway Roads
• DO NOT PASS TRAFFIC ON CAMPUS DRIVE

 
Option 2 For Both Before School Drop Off and After School Pick Up:

• Enter campus from Hathaway Rd and proceed to main lot 2-lane entrance 
• Enter the main lot using the left lane of this entrance
• Proceed to the main parking lot and park your vehicle in a designated parking space
• Before school drop off, safely escort your student to the sidewalk for entrance into school
• After school pick up, meet your student on the sidewalk in front of the school and safely escort them to your parked vehicle
• Join the 2-lane exit paths out of the main parking lot and campus
• Do NOT try and join the curbside drop off or pick up line coming from Hathaway.  The only option for curbside drop off or pick up is via the Bethel Rd entrance

 
Option 3 ONLY for After School Pick Up:

• Enter campus from Hathaway Rd and proceed to the tennis parking lot just south of the school and main lot
• Park your vehicle in a designated parking spot
• Wait for your student in your vehicle.  They will exit school along the sidewalk by the gym and cross safely at the marked crosswalk
• Exit the tennis lot and then campus via the Hathaway Rd exit (to the left) or the Bethel Rd exit (to the right)

 
At NO time should a student ever be dropped off or picked up in any other location, especially along our main drive
 
We appreciate your cooperation and attention to this matter to help keep our students safe and as quickly as possible accommodate our families dropping off and picking up students. Drivers who violate these procedures could be subject to traffic citations from local law enforcement. Thank you for your assistance!
