Students interested in taking an accelerated course should provide their most recent report card, ILEARN or equivalent state standardized test scores, and NWEA record (if applicable). The qualifications required to be placed into our accelerated options are outlined on grade level course selection sheets. We will be offering NWEA testing on the following dates for students who are interested in accelerated but have not taken the assessment before. Please call our school office @ 260-637-5159 to register for one of these dates.

Tuesday, June 11th @ 9:00AM with NWEA following tour
Thursday, July 11th @ 9:00AM with NWEA following tour
Wednesday, July 17th @ 1:00 PM
Tuesday, July 30th @ 9:00 AM with NWEA following the tour
If new students are unable to make it a tour date noted above, then they are welcome to attend a self-guided tour at registration on Thursday July 25th 7am-7pm.
ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

Once online enrollment is complete and all necessary documents are submitted, your request will be processed based on counselor availability.
Please note that a verification of residence and a copy of your student's birth certificate must be uploaded to your online enrollment application before CMS can officially enroll a student.
The following are acceptable proof of residency requirements:
If you are building a new home, you will need a Move-In Affidavit from our Superintendent's office.
If you are residing with a 3rd party who lives in the district, you will need a Live-With Affidavit from our Superintendent's office or you can obtain this document at Carroll Middle School. *Please note: the owner of the residence AND the parent will need to be present to complete this process at either location. The 3rd party will need to bring ID and a verification of residency. The parent/guardian enrolling the student will need to bring a copy of their ID.

Upon receiving the required paperwork, a guidance counselor will enroll the student and create a student schedule. During the school year, this process takes 3-5 school days. If you enroll over the summer, the process will be completed based upon the guidance department summer schedule. If you have questions about the summer schedule, please call 637-5159. If enrolling over the summer, please see the dates listed above for planned tours and call our office to schedule for one of those options, if possible.
